Citizen's Charter

1. Thana is an organization providing services to the people

2. Provide equal legal rights to all citizens irrespective of race, religion, caste and political / social / economic class

3. To provide service to the person who comes first to the help candidates who come to the police station

4. To show respect to all the persons seeking help in the police station and to address them with respect

5. To provide all possible assistance to the duty officer regarding the application of the person who has come to the police station for GD and to provide the GD number, date and signature and seal of the concerned officer in the 2nd copy of the application to the applicant and to inform the applicant as soon as possible.

. The oral / written statement of the person who has come to the police station to file a case will be recorded by the officer-in-charge and the person who has come will be informed the name and title of the investigating officer along with the case number, date and section. The Investigating Officer will be in regular contact with the complainant to inform him of the progress of the investigation and to inform him in writing of the results when the investigation is completed.

. To provide overall assistance to the injured victim from the police station and to collect all the medical certificates of the police station in this regard.

. To follow the provisions of the Juvenile Act, 1974 on child / juvenile delinquency and to ensure that they do not come into contact with adult offenders in any way. For this, juvenile detention centers are being set up in all police stations of the country.

9. Ensuring overall security of female accused / victim through female police as much as possible.

10. To complete the investigation within 03 (three) days of receipt of all inquiries regarding passport verification / firearms license etc. and send the report from the police station to the concerned unit.

11. Thana police members maintain uninterrupted communication with the community.

12. To solve social problems and legal issues through crime prevention / public relations meetings

13. Issuance of Police Clearance Certificate to candidates seeking employment / higher education abroad

14. Arrangement of police escorts as per demand to secure the withdrawal of large amount of money from the bank.

15. To provide traffic facilities in traffic control.
